Bit Timing for 82c200, 82527 et al

Introduction
This program can be used for all CAN controllers with bit timing registers compatible with the 82C200, for example, 82527, sja1000, and MC68HC705.

Installation
Not needed. Just run the program. (Windows 95 or NT 4 required.)

Input Clock Frequency The frequency of the clock you are feeding your CAN controller with.

Prescaler The value of the prescaler used to reduce the clock frequency.

SJW The Synchronization Jump Width.

Samples The number of samples per bit. Can be 1 or 3.

Time Seg 1 The number of quanta before the sampling point.

Time Seg 2 The number of quanta after the sampling point.

BTR0 The contents of the BTR0 register.

BTR1 The contents of the BTR1 register.

Notes

The value of Time Seg 1 includes the Sync Segment, the Propagation Segment and the Phase Segment 1.
The value of Time Seg 2 includes the Phase Segment 2.
